As a writer for Contently, you’ll help our customers—some of the world’s most recognizable brands—craft high-quality content that drives strategic business goals. You’ll be a partner and resource for our clients while working remotely on a freelance, contract basis. Managing editors are billed hourly and paid monthly. Fees for freelance writing gigs vary project by project.
Freelance writer responsibilities
Our freelance writers are our bread and butter. They help our customers tell stories with guidance from the managing editor. They have experience in the field, know how to take direction, and are able to hit the ground running. Ideal candidates for this role are great storytellers conversant in healthcare and comfortable tailoring content to a B2C audience. The ability to distill information and strategically use data and keywords is also important. Translation will be a big part of this gig.
